CC Cream the new make up bag must have

CC Cream the new make up bag must have

Why CC Cream lives up to the hype – and why it’s perfect for older skin.

Move over BB Cream, there’s a new kid on the block. Yes, CC Creams have arrived to much excitement from the beauty press – and it looks like it’s not just a fad. So what exactly is a CC Cream? CC stands for ‘complexion corrector’, and it’s basically BB Cream’s big sister, combining several different benefits in one. The even better news is that CC Creams are brilliant for more mature skin because, while it’s tempting to pile on more make-up when we start seeing signs of ageing, few things make skin look older than a foundation that’s too heavy and just sinks into fine lines.

Look great now and even better in time

Olay Regenerist CC Cream combines a sheer foundation, an SPF15 moisturiser and a serum, so it’s like having three great products in one – saving time and effort. The lightweight formula will make your skin look instantly perfected (yes please!) but, because of the skincare goodies it’s packed with, you can also expect to see benefits over time (again, yes please!). A reduction in the appearance of wrinkles in just two weeks, for example, and dark spots diminished in eight weeks.

Help your CC Cream along its way

However clever CC Cream is, it can’t work all its wonders if you don’t ‘prepare your canvas’ first. This means two steps:
1.Start with cleansing: make-up sits better on a smooth, clean surface so good cleansing is vital. Try the Olay Regenerist 3 Point Cleansing System.
2.Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles: want to instantly reduce the appearance of wrinkles? Reach for Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Complex.

Other ways to anti-age your make-up routine

Okay, so you’ve ditched the heavy foundation for CC Cream and cleansed and perfected your skin, but what else might be making you look older?
Overplucked brows: any make-up artist will tell you that brows frame your face and that fuller, more natural-looking brows make you look younger. If yours are a bit on the sparse side, fill them in with powder or pencil.
A lipstick that’s too dark: our lips tend to lose fullness and definition as we get older and a really dark lipstick can emphasise this. Lighter shades tend to make the lips look bigger and poutier.
Frosted eyeshadow: these can highlight fine lines. However, you don’t want an eyeshadow that’s too matte either. The texture to look for is a sort of satin finish – so no actual shimmer but a little bit of luminosity.

CC Cream improves complextion

Annabel 19/06/2017

For years I've been using foundation everyday, but the last few months, I noticed my cheeks were looking bumpy, red and spotty. I had a chat with my sister and she recommended CC Cream instead of foundation. Within a month my skin is now spot free, it has a healthy glow to it, fine lines don't look so bad, and the redness has gone on my cheeks thanks to using a green coloured CC Cream. I'm 36 and it's the best my face has looked in years. Needless to say all my foundation is in the bin!

CC great for Mature Skin

Nona 87 11/06/2017

As I am now the wrong side of 40, I find CC cream much more flattering & moisturizing to my skin. Foundation just sits in my fine lines & cakes the face, where as CC cream covers a multitude of issues & leaves me with a healthy glow!

Could it be the one
