You’ve always taken care of your family with Fairy Non Bio’s gentle touch. Together, you can also help children with medical needs lead longer, happier, healthier lives.

All through the years, you took care of your kids with the help of Fairy Non Bio’s gentleness: wrapping their sensitive skin in soft sheets, hugging them in fluffy towels and surrounding them with a clean, fresh scent.

But for some families, their parents’ kindness isn’t enough. Children with complex illnesses need the help of world-renowned medical experts and round-the-clock care.

That’s why, on a typical day, 618 children from all over Britain and beyond arrive at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) in London, one of the leading children’s hospitals in the world.

In April 2011, Rital and Ritag Gaboura were among those arrivals. They had been born six months earlier in Khartoum, Sudan, as twins who were joined at the head.

Before GOSH operated, they were given only a one in 10 million chance of survival. Ritag’s heart had to pump blood to half of her sister’s brain as well as her own, and it was beginning to fail.

The multi-stage separation was a procedure which had only been attempted three times before: once in New York and twice more at GOSH.

In four operations over four months, surgeons gradually separated the children without damaging the brain tissue where they were joined. And the two girls could at last begin living their separate lives as sisters.

GOSH has always depended on charitable support in its work to help seriously ill children live their lives to their full potential. Every year, the hospital’s charitable trust faces the incredible task of raising £100m to remain at the forefront of children’s healthcare.

And because Fairy Non Bio wants to help parents protect their children, it wants to help GOSH too.

Now you can buy special packs of Fairy Non Bio powder, washing liquid, washing capsules and gel with the label “1 pack = 1 donation”. Every time you buy one of these packs, Fairy will donate 5p to GOSH.

Those donations will help to fund pioneering research into children’s health, provide specialist medical equipment and support families in their hour of need.

GOSH is the UK’s largest funder of medical research into childhood illnesses, and over five years, it is investing more than £50m to unlock big breakthroughs in rare, complex conditions.

That means targeting hard-to-treat childhood cancers, muscle-wasting conditions, birth defects, immune system disorders, heart conditions and illnesses that affect children’s hormones and body chemistry.

So the next time you put a wash on, whether it’s for your delicate skin or your grandchildren’s, you’ll know that you’re not just taking good care of your loved ones. You could be helping someone else’s child lead a longer, happier and healthier life, by supporting the expertise and dedication of the staff at GOSH.
